Hello!
I am so happy to have you visit my LaBerge Gallery. I am setting up the shop with you in mind... I want to make it easier to decorate your home, nursery, kitchen, office, school etc... I have divided my shop into 12 different rooms where you can browse and find just the right original painting or print, colors and sizes (found on the upper left hand side of my shop). To save you money on framing, I have painted and printed my items for sale so most will fit into a standard mat and frame. I ship on Tuesday and Friday and will try to get your order to you fast.

About me:
I like to paint: things, bright colors & shapes made by things & shadows

It can be anything in my LaBerge Gallery. I have a large room of things that are perfect for a nursery, new baby gift or child. Next kitchen gadgetry, so very fun to paint because of the shapes and shadows they make. And if you are not into gadgets I have and continue to painted fruit for kitchens and gardens. The colors are so hard to resist And they make such nice gifts for cooks and gardeners. For you or your bird watching friends, as I am, I have a room just for birds. I have another room for wildlife. By accident I found out that there are a lot of women and men who love cats, and I love to paint cat. They are so like a watercolor without hard edges that I saved a room for the feline lovers. I hope you will look around and let me help with your home decor.

MY painting method:
When I am finishing my painting at the large table in my wonderful modern studio, I am most happy and relaxed. But from the first decision as to color in the brush and all the planning and execution until the last stroke complete concentration and faith is in demand. Faith in myself that this painting will come together in a very beautiful way at the last finishing stroke.
The paint I use is transparent watercolor. Each layer contributes to the final color and can dramatically or slightly change the color. This way the differentiating the different shapes in the painting will have the best contrast. I love this part ! It is like magic to me every time : )

I was asked to donate one of my paintings to the large modern Crocker Art Museum in Sacramento, California. I donated "Oh the Mustard" 20 x 28 in.and then they asked to interview me. I was very nervous but here I am, please come and meet me.
